In contrast to the plastic supports of the Lansky stones, the Pyrenees Sandstone is
is glued onto a milled aluminium support with a rail profile.
The lettering has been lasered, and there is a handy knurled screw for clamping.

The grinding surface of the Pyrenean sandstone measures 3.94 x 0.59 x 0.31 inch.
It is therefore somewhat wider than the Lansky diamond grinding surfaces (4.00 x 0.5 inch).

The Pyrenean Sandstone can be used with water.
Use the product to create the basic sharpness on your knives or tools. 

This product is only the Pyrenean Sandstone on the aluminium support.
You do not purchase a guide rod or a complete Lansky sharpening system.
