Application:

Simply put some water on the bench stone and move the sharpening stone in circular motions.
Friction causes the water, shale and naturally embedded garnets (spesartines) to form a
sharpening paste.
The sharpening paste remains on the surface of the dense natural stone and is the basis for easy and efficient sharpening of your knives and tools.
